My son was born with Hirschsprungs Disease and had to have his colon removed at 9 months old. He is now 3 years old and a regimen of pectin has been recommended to us. The store brands are very tart and I’ve found it difficult to disguise them in his foods. This no-acid pectin works great for stool bulking and is almost completely tasteless. I can mix it in his water and he drinks it without any problem. I also appreciate the excellent customer service I’ve received from Pacific Pectin. They sent me a large free sample to try with my son before I invested in 10 pounds of pectin.
